I know a lot of us walked into this quarantine thinking how wonderful it was going to be to have all the time to do all the things we’ve been putting off. I was one of them. 

But the reality has been so different for many of us.

I thought this month would be a great time to share inspiration and hope alongside lessons and necessary transformations, so I decided to dig in and share my favorite inspirational podcasts about yoga, meditation, and spiritual growth.

The following are (in my opinion) the best yoga-based podcasts for students, teachers, and business owners this year:

 

Practice You  with Elena Brower

Why I love it: honest explorations, and real, raw conversations.

Highest self podcast by Sahara Rose

From understanding your mission on this planet to sharing it with the world, this podcast is the spiritual friend you wish you had, who lifts you up and gets you on all levels.”

Why I love it: I love the vibrant array of juicy topics! I could close my eyes and click on any one of them, listen the whole way through, and learn so much.

Yoga Talks by J Brown Yoga

“Leading the way in the Slow Yoga Revolution, advocating for more intimate, breath-centered, therapeutic yoga practices, J interviews guests from old-school yoga teachers to other yoga revolutionists about philosophy and the business of yoga.

Episode to Listen to Now: “Tantra of Unbreakable Wholeness” with  Todd Norian

Why I love it: This podcast is perfect for long days in rainy season here, when you have time but you don’t want to watch a movie. I love how intentional it is.

Tara Brach Podcast

Episode to Listen to Now: “Your Awake Heart Is Calling You”

Why I love it: I could listen to Tara speak for hours. Her stories are so vivid, engaging, deeply moving, and I even get a few laughs in there too.

On Being with Krista Tippet

Why I love it: Her easy to listen to voice and natural interview skills make this podcast a relaxing but engaging listen.

The Soul Sessions with Kori Hahn

Why I love it: I love Kori’s spiritual perspective and deep soothing voice. 

Conversations from the Heart with YogaGirl Rachel Brathen

Why I love it: Rachel is known for her loud opinions, personality, and deep connection with her followers. Every bit of who she is oozes out of the podcast, so fun to listen to.
