I have been practicing vinyasa flow for 20 years now and teaching for 13….while I still enjoy this practice so much for its graceful flow with the meditative breath, I have lately discovered a new passion: Yin Yoga. I completed a training with Indira Kate Kalmbach and am very excited to not only practice but also share it with you in my retreats and regular classes.

I love to travel……I feel lucky that I get to travel for my work and sometimes I am being asked: „…But where is your home? Don’t you feel up-rooted if you are always on the road?“ My honest answer is no……I am excited and inspired to find a sense of home wherever I go….I love seeing my friends places and how they live and love that I get to share a bit of their lifestyle…..
Daniel and I are on the road in Europe right now and sleep on couches, in yoga studios, in cozy hotel beds, in our families and friends homes and what makes it feel like home to us is that we are connected from our hearts. This sunday, November 30th, we will celebrate Montezuma Yoga‘s 13th Birthday.
I remember so very well how I arrived here in december 2000 from New York City and fell in love……Montezuma Yoga then was born almost a year later while lying in the hammock listening to the sound of the ocean and having a moment with a glimpse of an idea to create a website. You know, those glimpses that we easily forget and not react on, because we think we can do it later…….thank god I did react that moment, because it shifted my life into the new direction I am so grateful for today…..
